Dear colleagues, who has used compact control valves from domestic or foreign manufacturers (preferably those with pneumatic actuators)? Ordinary control valves can also be considered compact; most actuators for such valves are quite large. I work with a pilot plant setup. The process pipes are all φ10 stainless steel tubes; I don’t want to use ordinary CV3000 series control valves, as they are too large in size. Does anyone know of manufacturers that produce truly compact control valves? Similar to the structure of a needle valve, it is connected using a ferrule thread.
The diameter is approximately 6 or 8 millimeters.
Hydrogen, at room temperature, operating pressure of 5.0 MPa. Flow rate: based on differential pressure; this determines the specific valve selection. I’m currently using a valve with a diameter of 6 mm, but the flange is of DN25 PN100 standard. Thank you!

We have worked with hydrogen media; the valve port diameter is DN10, and the minimum diameter of the valve core is 2 mm. The pneumatic actuator is also quite compact, and it has been used in neon and helium extraction equipment as well.
