A check valve should be installed on the nitrogen pipeline; when it is installed vertically, can the flow only proceed from bottom to top?
It depends on the structural type of the check valve; those that need to close due to their own gravity, such as swing-type valves, require the fluid to flow from bottom to top； Clamped disc types do not require it
The flow direction is generally horizontal or from bottom to top; efforts should be made to avoid a flow direction from top to bottom. Consider the impact of gravity settlement on sealing.
