High NOx levels lead to excessive nitrogen oxides in exhaust emissions, as well as an increased nitrate content in the resulting sulfuric acid.
Our wastewater stripping process uses a full top extraction approach; the nitrogen oxides in the sulfur flue gas are below 60 mg/m3, so there is no issue.
NOx should be controlled at the source, which requires increased investment in the preceding processes.
