The purpose of installing a water seal in the dry absorption process for producing acid from pyrite is to create a negative pressure in each tank and U-tube used in this process, thereby allowing the condensed acid formed from the flue gas to flow into the water seal. This serves both sealing and safety functions, and it also affects the liquid level in these tanks. During operation, our company maintains a full water level at all times, but some companies leave no water in the water seal during operation and fill it with water only when shutting down. Which of these two methods is better? Maintenance mainly involves regular replenishment of water and fluid to prevent acid sludge from blocking the water seal and the negative pressure pipe.
