On July 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for the pile foundation works of the phosphate-coal chemical integration project in Bijie, Guizhou was held in Zhijin County, Bijie City. The project aims to become the first national demonstration base for a complete industrial chain of new energy materials. The project was jointly invested in and built by Aoyama, Huayou, and Huafeng Group, with a total investment amount of 73 billion yuan. This project is the largest industrial investment in Guizhou’s history, with its strengths lying primarily in scale effects, green and low-carbon characteristics, synergistic complementarity, and efficient utilization. The project is planned to be constructed in three phases. It is planned to invest in the construction of a project with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons of iron phosphate and 800,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, along with associated projects and facilities for the comprehensive development of phosphorus chemicals ; It is planned to invest in the construction of projects and facilities with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of DMC (dimethyl carbonate), 5 million tons of coke, 500,000 tons of methanol produced from coke oven gas, 800,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 1 million tons of hydrogen peroxide. For the first phase of the project, an investment of 24.3 billion yuan is planned, to build facilities with an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of iron phosphate, 250,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, 2 million tons of coke, 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 300,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide. Once the integrated project is put into operation, it is expected to generate an annual output value of over 120 billion yuan and create more than 14,000 jobs.
