How is overpressure prevented in argon cylinders used for welding on site? Of course, argon is an inert gas that does not burn, but how can argon cylinders prevent overpressure in the event of a fire on site? It seems there are no pressure relief devices! If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you!
Gas cylinders already come equipped with small safety valves – so what’s the need to discuss preventing overpressure?
Firstly, from the perspective of safety management, strict protective measures must be in place during on-site construction. The storage of gas cylinders must comply with safety isolation requirements, and there are strict regulations regarding the protection and isolation of sources of fire and ignition points.
There’s no safety valve on the gas cylinder! I mean, how is pressure released in case of a fire?

The purpose of installing a fuse plug is to allow it to melt at high temperatures in order to relieve pressure. The acetylene cylinder is quite visible on its body, but I really couldn’t find the argon cylinder! Thank you all!
