Annular butt joint of necked butt-welded flange and pipe

This post was last edited by HSLJHZ on 2017-12-16 at 14:09. I would like to ask everyone: Are the classifications of welded joints in ASME SEC. VIII, DIV. 1 consistent with those in GB/T150.1? Is the circumferential butt joint between the necked butt-welded flange and the pipe fitting of Class B or Class C? Thank you!

But for the embedded, overlapped welds, there are other considerations. The welds of WN flanges and fittings are classified as Class B welds in both standards. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I answered a question, clicked on the attachment, and they still deducted some of my wealth points.
The national standard is Class B, while ASME is Class C
