The continuous and periodic drainage from the boiler is collected in the waste water cooling tank, from where it is pumped away; it’s not clear whether it goes directly to the collection tank of the cold water tower or to the sewage tank. Thank you!
Such wastewater can only be sent to a wastewater treatment plant for processing
Thank you all for your replies. We are going to the collection tank located below the cold water tower. I’m not sure whether the wastewater from the boiler might affect the quality of the circulating water and cause scaling There is also the question of the water quality of the wastewater discharged from boilers: will precipitates or scale form as the water temperature drops?
Compared to recycled water, that water already has a relatively good quality; so why can’t it be used in the recirculation tank?
Thank you. The wastewater discharged by the boiler to prevent scaling should not affect the quality of the circulating water, right? A lot of scale inhibitors are added to the circulating water tank to prevent scaling. Is the scale that forms in the circulating water made of the same components as the scale that forms in the boiler? Should we not use a recirculation tank? Can less scale inhibitor be added to the recirculating water?
Boiler water is deionized water or soft water. Given the quality of water used for replenishment and the quality of water inside the boiler during operation, even the wastewater is far, far better in quality than the water used for replenishing the circulating water; it’s perfectly fine to use it in the circulation tank.
