Regarding the requirements for reinforcement rings in pressure vessels, two reference standards are primarily relevant here, and it is essential to be familiar with them: 1. GB150-2011 2. JB/T 4736-2002. Must reinforcement rings be integral? Can it be combined? The answer is yes. How to do it for pictures? Splicing is possible as long as the following requirements are met: 1. Radial block splicing and installation ; Splitting for material removal is not allowed; it must be assembled as a whole before installation. 2. Situations where an integral reinforcement ring cannot be installed ; 3. The welded joint after assembly must be ground to be smooth and even ; 4. The weld was subjected to UT testing and passed at grade II. 5. Since the several panels joined together form independent chambers, M10 threaded holes must be drilled in each panel; compressed air at a pressure of 04–0.5 MPa is then introduced to check the quality of the welds.

In cases where the overall reinforcement ring cannot be installed, this method is not feasible either; non-destructive testing is not possible in such situations. . Take a good look at the standards. Forgetting to install it or not having enough material in total (some manufacturers used this as an excuse when we went for external evaluations in the past) are not situations where installation is impossible ;
So what are the situations specified by that standard that allow concatenation? Could you give a few examples? Thank you.
