Are drum dryers subject to the Solid Waste Regulations? According to the Large Vessel Code, P5, Article 1.5, Clause (4), \"pressure vessels that are integral to or form part of mechanical equipment with rotational or reciprocating motion\" are not covered by the Fixed Vessel Code
Strictly speaking, it should not fall under the jurisdiction of TSG21-2016； But I checked the completion documents for the Fanqun drum dryer, and indeed the drum bears the seal from the local pressure vessel inspection agency; such an agency should have the capability to make such distinctions.

In accordance with clause 4.1.1 of JB/T 10279-2013 \"Drum Dryers\", dryers that use gases such as steam, or liquids whose operating temperature is equal to or higher than their standard boiling point as heating media, and whose operating pressure is 0.1 MPa or higher with a product of operating pressure and volume of 2.5 MPa·L or higher, must meet the requirements of GB150 and be subject to inspection in accordance with TSG R004-2009. In accordance with the new regulations TSG 21-2016, the requirement that the product of working pressure and volume be greater than or equal to 2.5 MPa·L has been changed to one requiring that the volume be greater than or equal to 0.03 m3.
The shell belongs to the category in which it cannot be designed or manufactured unless it is designed as a pressure vessel. Air compressors are not subject to the fixed-volume regulation. We design the dryer housing in accordance with the solid volume regulations.
