If the material for type A flanges is S30408, then are such flanges considered non-standard?
That’s the rule (after all, different materials allow for different allowable stresses), but there are too few materials listed in the standards; I have this same problem as well. It can also be calculated using SW6 for custom designs; after selecting the appropriate specifications, the relevant dimensions can be determined, and drawings will need to be produced for custom designs. If no diagram is desired, select an appropriate standard grade after the calculation is completed.
