Nature of Construction: Renovation and expansion Location: Within the caustic soda production area of Zhongyan Anhui Hongsi Fang Co., Ltd. in Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park Project Summary: The total investment in this project is approximately 208.34 million yuan. Main construction contents of the project: The project covers an area of 8.04 mu. Soda ash is produced using the excess carbon dioxide from the ethylene glycol plant and the surplus liquid ammonia from the synthetic ammonia plant. Energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment and technologies such as vacuum belt alkali filters, powder flow cooling systems, light liquid distillation units, and exhaust gas absorption towers are employed to upgrade the existing soda ash production facilities. A heated fluidized bed dry ammonium furnace is used to transform the existing wet ammonium production systems. New equipment has been added, including carbonation towers, vacuum belt filters, dilute liquid distillation towers, rich gas compressors, light ash steam calciners, crystallizers, fluidized bed dryers, screw ammonia compressors, etc. After the technical renovation and expansion of the project, an additional 150,000 tons per year of light soda ash, 150,000 tons per year of wet ammonium, and 200,000 tons per year of dry ammonium can be produced.
