HG/T 20645.2-2022 \"Specifications for Mechanical Design of Piping in Chemical Plants – Engineering Design Requirements\" 4.2.1 The design of pipe supports and hangers shall meet the following requirements: 4 Support structures should be installed near bends in vertical pipe sections, or above the center of gravity of such vertical sections ； 5 Support frames should be installed near pipeline components subjected to large concentrated loads. HG/T 20645.5-2022 \"Specifications for Mechanical Design of Pipelines in Chemical Plants – Design Technical Requirements\": 5.3 Pipeline support installation: Support frames must be installed at the bottom of vertical pipelines to bear all vertical loads (weight of the pipeline itself, contents within it, insulation). When the height of a vertical pipe exceeds 6m, an additional load-bearing and guiding combined support must be installed for every additional 6m, in order to distribute the load and control lateral displacement. III. GB 50316-2000 (2008 edition), Code for Design of Industrial Metal Piping, 10.5.4.1: Support clamps on vertical pipes shall prevent slippage between the pipe and its components; stop blocks can be welded to the pipe components or rib plates can be welded along their axial direction. Explanation of the provision (original text): Vertical pipes must be equipped with supporting brackets at the bottom to bear the weight of the pipe itself and the weight of the fluid contained within it, thereby preventing the pipe from sagging or becoming unstable
