Can an electrically heated heat transfer oil furnace be placed in a workshop? The fire category for the workshop is Class C. Since there is no space in the factory area to build a heat transfer oil furnace, it is planned to install it inside the workshop. I’m not sure if it meets the standard requirements
It is best to consult the design firm; heat transfer oil is classified as Category B
Personally, I think there is no issue with the workshop layout, but the spacing requirements specified by fire safety regulations must be met based on the properties of the heat transfer oil and the operating conditions.
It should be possible for Class C factories; you can install a small partition in an appropriate location within the factory to enhance safety and facilitate management.
The workshop layout is fine; there is sufficient safety distance and fire exits
Just build a firewall to separate them.
