Could you please tell me the enthalpy values of water at 240 degrees and 230 degrees at a pressure of 4.9 Mpa? Thank you; I couldn’t find this information on Baidu after searching for a long time
Pressure has a minor effect on the enthalpy of a liquid, and it can be approximated by using the enthalpy at saturation. At 230°C (2.798 MPa), the enthalpy of water is 990.2 (988.5) Kj/Kg; differences exist due to varying data sources. At 240°C (3.347 MPa), the enthalpy of water is 1038 (1034.56) Kj/Kg; again, variations occur as a result of different data sources. To obtain accurate values, it is better to use ASPEN simulations, which can provide direct results. Or use the steam-related software on the website.
