I would like to ask what the differences are between safety barriers, isolation barriers, surge protection devices, and lightning protection barriers?
No one has answered yet. Safety barrier: A component (hardware) installed to achieve intrinsical safety. It is divided into Zener type and isolated type. Isolation barrier: In principle, it only serves an isolation function and does not have the current and voltage limiting capabilities of a safety barrier. Surge protection and lightning protection grids are the same thing; during a lightning strike, they can quickly conduct the lightning current to the ground, thereby preventing damage to instrumentation and equipment caused by lightning strikes to a large extent.
