Are separate electrical converters combined with pneumatic positioners still in use today? Why is there such a diagram in HG/T21581-2012? It seems that the ones we commonly use are all smart locators. What’s the difference between electrical positioners and intelligent positioners?
Yes, but they are used less often these days. Currently, mechanical positioners and intelligent positioners are more commonly used. In the past, pneumatic positioners were also used, but they are hardly seen in use these days
