Are the pressure gauges used in chlorine systems specialized?

During one inspection, the experts gave feedback on our pressure gauges, stating that pressure gauges for chlorine pipelines should be dedicated ones, yet no such dedicated pressure gauges were seen at our site. Because I didn’t know before; since experts have said it, there must be a basis for it, but it’s not convenient to ask directly. We didn’t use a dedicated pressure gauge on site, and there were no major issues. So, is it necessary to use a dedicated pressure gauge? Are there any regulations in this regard? Could a professional in instrumentation give some advice? Thank you!
Special provisions of the recommended standards are generally required, but not mandatory.
The main purpose of chlorine is corrosion prevention; the diaphragm material must be able to withstand it, and the structure must be suitable for long-term use.
Using a corrosion-resistant threaded diaphragm or flanged diaphragm should suffice
The corrosion-resistant diaphragm can be made of Monel alloy or Hastelloy C.
Our corrosion-resistant chlorine flow meters use tantalum for their probe material, allowing them to operate without issues for 15 years.
