I have a question: I want a certain valve to be controlled at 50-100%, and can the output range be 12-20mA instead of 4-20mA? Is it possible to achieve this in this way?
If it is kept between 50% and 100%, doesn’t that correspond exactly to 12–20 mA?

I recall there being signal conversion modules with arithmetic functions that can take a default 4–20mA signal and, through configuration, convert it into other output formats; something like translating the signal on a coordinate axis or converting it using a DCS – that should be possible
Yes, stepwise adjustment provides this type of output
It’s simply output limiting; both DCS and PLC can achieve this
