WOODWARD Protech GII overspeed protector

I see that the unit uses a WOODWARD Protech GII overspeed protector; I’m not sure how effective it is. Does anyone who is familiar with it know anything about it?
It’s still very stable and reliable; the Brown E16 version is also available
Here we use both Brown over-speed protection and PROtech 203; both give good performance. The plant has been in operation for over ten years without any problems (the protection systems worked properly during two instances of runaway speed, while the 203 system gave false alarms twice due to loose internal wiring)

Sure, isn’t it all about debugging? Test the protection mechanisms when the machine is not in use. For Qingdao Jieneng, the parts that tend to have problems are the fly hammer and the machine head. Besides, if you feel it’s not safe enough, you can simply add an overspeed protection mechanism yourself
