I would like to ask everyone: for level and pressure transmitters used to measure liquid bromine, what type of diaphragm material should be chosen? Which type of pneumatic valve should be chosen?

For the diaphragm of liquid chlorine, I have chosen tantalum here, while the valve lining is made of fluoroplastic
For double-flange level gauges and pressure transmitters, tantalum diaphragms are used; for magnetic flap level gauges or float level gauges, PFA material is employed. Ball valves are chosen for shut-off purposes, while PFA bellows control valves are used for regulation. Ordinary tetrafluorobromine will penetrate, and over time the pipes will leak.
It’s completely different; bromine uses a water seal.
Fluorinated pneumatic ball valves with SIL certification – does anyone have any good suppliers to recommend?
There are many manufacturers that produce fluorinated ball valves, but few of them have a SiL certification. SiL also comes with different grade certifications, and it’s necessary to specify which level of SiL certification has been achieved; in reality, it’s just a matter of a document.
We have fluorine-lined butterfly valves that come with SI-L3 certification; such products are rare in China
Liquid bromine level: It depends on the operating conditions; a magnetic flap gauge made of fluorinated material can be used, or a non-contact radar gauge can be chosen as well. For pressure transducers, a flanged type with tantalum diaphragms is suitable. For on-off valves, 304+F46 is recommended; in cases of high temperatures, 304+PFA can be used. The leakage rating should be level 6. When safety instruments are involved, both the valve body and its accessories need to have SIL certification. However, if the required integrated safety level is low, one can opt for METSO emergency shut-off valves if cost is not a concern.
