SIS system redundancy issues

The most hazardous reaction in our company is likely the hydrogenation reaction. In the current safety assessment, the SIS is described as follows: \"To ensure the reliability of the system, the power supply, controllers, data buses, communication cards, etc. of the SIS system are configured with a 1:1 redundancy setup.\" ” I would like to ask whether redundant configuration is required for the above content? Thank you so much!
These are standard features in SIS systems, and redundancy setup is required.
All more important PLCs are configured in this way……
I can’t remember which document or standard it was, but it specifies requirements for the hardware that is to be used in the SIS system: it must be of SIL1 level, field transmitters can be redundant, while controllers must also be redundant； For SIL2 level, the transmitters should be redundant (here, the redundancy is of type 1oo2, not 2oo2). SIL3 level: the transmitter must be redundant or higher. The control system that enters the SIS is, at the very least, of a redundant design. It’s just my personal understanding, haha :)
