Finally, I referred to Teacher Li Jingjing’s method of estimating the boiler’s steam output by working backwards from the sulfur production amount Steam generation rate = Total heat energy / Heat energy required to convert one ton of water into steam. What you need to know is the amount of heat energy needed to transform water from its inlet temperature into steam; approximately 4817 MJ of heat energy is required per ton of sulfur!
