On July 1, good news came from the first phase of Yulin Energy Chemical’s rectification project: the first important milestone in its construction was achieved, with the #2 main substation now ready to receive electricity. It is reported that the 2# main substation project consists of 5 individual buildings, namely the control building, the 35KV power distribution room, the 35KV capacitor room, the 35KV arc suppression coil room, and the 110KV power distribution room. Construction on the project began on September 12, 2018; after 3 months of intensive work, the topping out of the 5 individual buildings was completed ahead of schedule on December 13, 2018 ； On March 4 this year, the project officially entered the phase of electrical equipment installation. On June 25, the \"three inspections and four determinations\" were successfully completed, and on June 30, the conditions for receiving power were met. According to the relevant person in charge of the Electrical and Instrumentation Center, in order to ensure the successful completion of the tasks related to enabling the 2# main substation to receive power, the project team carefully coordinated the efforts of all participating units, encouraged them to come up with innovative solutions, set clear deadlines, and ensured that responsibilities were properly assigned. Defects in design and installation that could affect the stable operation of the equipment were identified and addressed promptly. By working together with teams responsible for commissioning, equipment installation, and civil engineering, a comprehensive plan was developed, and detailed special construction plans were created. Next, the electrical staff will further verify the installation, wiring, and joint commissioning of the power system equipment, while also making thorough preparations for power reception to ensure the long-term stable operation of the No. 2 main transformer after it starts receiving power. On the morning of July 1, units such as the Public Works Center of Yueneng Chemical Company, the Command Headquarters for the Completion Projects, the Electrical and Instrumentation Center, and Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. jointly held a ceremony titled “Marking the 98th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party: The Main Substation of the First Phase of Completion Projects Is Now Ready to Receive Power”.
