Date: November 30, 2021 Clicks: 17 At 20:08 on November 27, the low-temperature drying and ignition of Boiler No. 1 in the power plant unit of Yushen Energy Chemical’s 500,000 tons per year coal-based ethanol project, which was EPC-general contracted by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., were successfully completed. This marks a significant achievement in the casting and insulation work related to Boiler No. 1. It is reported that the boiler has a steam generation capacity of 286 tons per hour, and the power station operates for 8,000 hours per year. The power station is primarily fueled by coal and operates based on the principle of combined heat and power generation, with electricity production determined by heat generation, in order to meet the project’s needs for integrated heating and steam supply. To ensure the smooth operation of the low-temperature boiler in this power station, the project team maintained strict quality control throughout the process, organizing multiple coordination meetings with the construction party and addressing any issues promptly to guarantee the successful heating and ignition of the boiler. The main corridor of the ethanol plant’s process system has been fully completed. Recently, with the installation of the last connecting steel structural beam, it was marked that the main corridor of the ethanol plant’s process system in the Yushen Energy Chemical Project is now fully complete. It is reported that the main corridor system of the ethanol plant’s process system weighs approximately 1,900 tons; it serves to connect together various process units such as the heating furnace, refrigeration station, power distribution room, cabinet rooms, as well as those related to dimethyl ether production, compression, carbonylation, and hydrogenation product separation. The installation process took 8 months. The project team made scientific arrangements and meticulous plans within the limited space, conducting thorough research on the details of each implementation plan and undergoing repeated evaluations to ensure that the entire process remained safe and under control. The connection of the main ducts in the process system has facilitated the progress of process piping and cable installation throughout the ethanol plant, laying a solid foundation for meeting the final deadline at the end of this year.
