Recently, the environmental impact assessment document for the comprehensive utilization project of coke oven gas carried out by Qitaihe Bailiang New Energy Co., Ltd. was approved. This is a new project located in the Qitaihe Xinxing Coal Chemical Circular Economy Industrial Park, on the vacant land to the south of the coking plant owned by Qitaihe Qianfeng Energy Co., Ltd. Natural gas and liquid ammonia are produced using the coke oven gas from Yifeng Coking Co., Ltd. and Xufeng Energy Co., Ltd. Upon completion of the project, the treatment capacity for coke oven gas will be 27,000 Nm3/h, with 8,000 hours of operation per year ； The annual production is 9,456×104 Nm3 of natural gas, and 20,554 tons of liquid ammonia. The main components of the project include the pretreatment process, compression process, methane purification process, separation process, purification process, and ammonia synthesis. The auxiliary facilities consist of office buildings, air compressors stations, nitrogen production stations, laboratories, control rooms, and accident containment tanks. The storage and transportation facilities include CNG storage tanks, liquid ammonia storage tanks, and loading/unloading systems. The utility systems comprise water supply systems, circulating cooling water systems, desalinated water systems, fire protection water systems, flare systems, power supply systems, telecommunications systems, as well as heating systems.
