Under the terms of the agreement, Hengli Group will invest 150 billion yuan in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, to develop a complete coal chemical industry chain that covers the entire process from coal to fabric. This investment is aimed at fostering the development of a high-end energy and chemical industry base in northern Shaanxi, thereby contributing to the high-quality economic development of the region. Hu Heping noted that the planning of the Hengli Group (Yulin) Coal Chemical Industry Park project aligns perfectly with Shaanxi Province’s industrial priorities and development directions. It represents a proactive effort to implement the strategies for an energy revolution as well as the strategy for the development of the western region. It is also a major project under the framework of cooperation between Jiangsu and Shaanxi provinces, and Shaanxi Province will certainly provide full support, keep close watch on its progress, and push for its rapid advancement. He hopes that both sides will work together sincerely to extend the integrated coal chemical industry chain in Shaanxi, and make every effort to develop a modern energy economy. Chen Jianhua said that as a **-level high-end energy and chemical industry base, and one of the four key coal chemical industry demonstration zones under development, Yulin in Shaanxi has significant advantages in building large-scale coal chemical industry chains. The Hengli Group (Yulin) Coal Chemical Industry Park project follows the approach of integrating coal processing with chemical manufacturing across the entire industrial chain. Adhering to the principles of high-standard planning, high-quality construction, high-level operation, and efficient management, it makes full use of the local coal resources. The project focuses on the development of coal mines, coal gasification facilities, as well as projects related to methanol, olefins, chemicals, and fine chemicals and new materials. It also includes facilities such as thermal power plants, air separation units, and other utility systems. The planned annual methanol production capacity is 12 million tons, all of which will be converted locally into downstream products such as fine chemicals, polyesters, and textile products. This enables the group to extend its industrial chain from \"a drop of oil to a piece of cloth\" to \"a lump of coal to a piece of cloth\", thus making full use of coal resources. Both parties stated that they would work closely together to accelerate progress and ensure that the project gets started as soon as possible, so that it can yield results promptly. They aim to turn this project into the largest and most advanced coal chemical complex in the country and even worldwide, contributing their expertise and efforts to promoting local economic development, strengthening domestic industry, and ensuring energy security.
