The third-generation rotary drum sulfur granulating machine is now available. Author/Source: Sinochem New Network. Date: 2020-01-21. Clicks: 328. Nanjing Sanpu Granulation Equipment Co., Ltd. has recently developed the third-generation rotary drum sulfur granulating (shaping) machine. This is the third generation of products developed by the company since it introduced the first generation of drum-type sulfur granulators in 2009. The particulate matter content in the exhaust gas emitted by this device after washing is less than 20 mg/m3, compared to 80 mg/m3 for similar rotary sulfur granulation machines abroad; moreover, there is no wastewater or solid waste generated throughout the entire process. This device utilizes proprietary control software and modules to enable normal operation during startup and material feeding, seamless switching of interlock protection in emergency situations, as well as comprehensive interlock protection with upstream and downstream equipment, thereby ensuring a safer, more convenient, and faster usage experience. The main body of the equipment consists of 3 skid-mounted components, namely the drum main body, the high-pressure cooling water system, and the exhaust gas treatment system. In this system, the exhaust gas treatment mechanism uses a water cyclone to direct dust-containing exhaust gases into a scrubber tower. After being washed through multiple stages of spraying within the tower, the cleaned exhaust gases are discharged directly. The washing water is recycled after sedimentation and filtration, while the particles that settle at the bottom are sent directly into a rotating drum using specialized elevators, where they continue to grow until they become finished particles. The sulfur granulator series has been granted 4 **patents to date; the maximum production capacity of a single unit is 30 tons per hour, with over 60 units in use in total, some of which have been exported abroad.
