Approval from the Water Resources Bureau of Yong’an City regarding the report on the soil and water conservation plan for the energy-saving and environmental-protection technology upgrade project of the ammonia synthesis system. Recently, the Oilfield Gas Chemical Technology Company, together with the design firm Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., held a meeting to discuss the basic design aspects of this project. During the meeting, the two parties had in-depth discussions and made plans regarding the technical parameters that need to be aligned for the preliminary design of this project, the coordination rules for the specific design, as well as subsequent process packages. Ultimately, they established the coordination procedures and basic requirements for the preliminary design of the project, as well as the unified rules for project design, the schedule, and the procedures for providing feedback on relevant documents. It is reported that the total investment in this project is approximately 410 million yuan. Using the associated gas from oil fields as raw material, it produces methanol, which serves as the raw material for the downstream production facilities in the project related to the recycling of associated gas resources. Based on the full utilization of existing public facilities, a methanol plant with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons is planned to be built. The project is scheduled to be largely completed by the end of 2021, with operation expected to begin in 2022. Affected by the pandemic, the bidding process for the basic design of the project to address deficiencies was completed via an online bid opening on March 11. In order to make up for the time lost due to the pandemic, the company and the basic design firm got started on all matters related to the basic design as soon as the winner was determined, and officially entered the basic design phase on March 26.
