On April 8, the isothermal shift reactor for Donghua Technology’s large-scale coal gasification project was successfully installed in place. At present, the equipment and materials for the fluorination gas project have largely arrived and are ready for use, while the installation work related to pipelines, electrical systems, and instrumentation is also in full swing simultaneously. The isothermal conversion furnace (521R0002) is the core patented equipment of the conversion unit; it has an inner diameter of 3.4 meters, a height of 14.7 meters, and a weight of around 277 tons, making it the heaviest piece of equipment in the conversion unit. At 11:40 a.m., the isothermal transformation furnace was slowly lifted with the close coordination of a 400-ton crawler main crane and a 500-ton tail crane; about 30 minutes later, the tower body was made vertical and the tail crane’s hook was released. Subsequently, the isothermal transformation furnace was slowly lifted, moved, and lowered under the traction of a 400-ton main crane, and settled firmly on the frame foundation around 6 p.m. This is another milestone achievement for the project, following the successful installation of the CO cryogenic separation cryostat on March 31.
