At 9:58 a.m., with the pouring of the final batch of concrete completed, the key structural element of the PBAT project was topped out, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of subsequent installation work. The polymerization plant is the main facility of the PBAT project; it covers an area of 1,821.75㎡, with a building area of 7,409.63㎡. The administrative building used by the project team occupies an area of 1,010.73㎡, with a building area of 3,711.33㎡. It has 4 floors in total, and its structural type is frame structure. The total investment in this project is 734 million yuan; it mainly involves the construction of a production facility for biodegradable new materials with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons, with 6,600 tons of **furan produced as a by-product.
