On the morning of December 11, 2022, the first gasifier, A-R2301, for the Henan Shenma Hydrogen-Ammonia project, which was constructed by Huisheng Engineering, was successfully lifted into place. The gasifier is the core equipment of the water-coal slurry gasification plant; it is 22.13 meters tall, 3.4 meters in diameter, and has a net weight of 248 tons. The elevation at which the equipment is installed is 34.8 meters. A 1000T crawler crane is used as the main lifting device, while a 400T crawler crane is used to assist with the lifting operation. To ensure the smooth lifting of the gasifier, the project team formulated plans in advance and organized everything carefully, completing the expert feasibility assessment of the gasifier lifting plan as well as the comparison and optimization of the equipment transportation plan. Through the joint efforts of the project team, equipment manufacturers, and construction contractors, difficulties such as tight equipment manufacturing deadlines, the widespread impact of the pandemic, limited space at the site, and high vertical lifting heights were overcome. This ensured the successful one-time lifting of the first gasifier, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction work. The successful lifting of the gasifier is an important milestone for this project, marking the onset of the peak period for equipment installation.
