Huajiang Chemical Introduces New Energy-Saving Drier to Improve Quality of Instrument Air Author/Source: Huajiang Chemical Date: 2020-05-21 Clicks: 30 Recently, Huajiang Chemical invested 450,000 yuan in a new type of air dryer to dry and purify the instrument air used throughout the plant, thereby improving the quality of this air supply and providing a solid foundation for the safe operation of chemical processing units. This air dryer is a regenerative adsorption dryer that utilizes the high-temperature heat energy from the compressor exhaust to carry out deep desorption and regeneration of the adsorbent. It eliminates the need for an external electric heater, resulting in no energy consumption for heating during regeneration. Compared to traditional dryers, it saves 159 kilowatt-hours of electricity per hour; based on an energy-saving factor of 0.6, it can save 750,000 yuan in electricity costs throughout the year. It is thus a new type of compressed air dryer with excellent energy-saving capabilities.
