Meeting for the design kickoff of the desalination station for Shaanxi Yueneng Chemical’s coal-based ethylene glycol project held / Author/Source: ChemChem Network – Coal Chemicals / Date: 2020-06-21 / Clicks: 75. To further accelerate the progress of the first-phase project aimed at producing 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol from coal, Shaanxi Yueneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. adopted a strategy of overall planning with simultaneous actions in various areas, so as to advance all the preliminary work for the project at the same time. From June 17th to 18th, a meeting on the detailed design of the desalination station for the 400,000 tons per year ethylene glycol production project in the first phase of Shaanxi Yueneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd., was held at Tianjin Tianchen Design Institute. Tianchen Design Institute, CEH Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., and the company’s relevant technical staff attended the meeting. At the meeting, CEH provided a brief overview of the detailed design of the desalination station for the Yueneng ethylene glycol project. Subsequently, the participants had in-depth discussions on matters such as the system diagram, layout plan, design basis, interface conditions, and design schedule of the desalinated water station, and reached a consensus. The holding of this detailed design meeting for the desalination station marks the transition of the detailed design phase for this station in the ethylene glycol project into the actual implementation stage, which is of great significance for the full commencement of construction of the project.
