The power plant boilers and their associated systems are the core and critical equipment in the production process of Kunpeng Company’s 400,000-ton coal-based ethylene glycol project. Since the launch of the coal-based ethylene glycol project, the company’s leadership team has adhered to the guiding principle of \"going all out to ensure the success of the commissioning process.\" They have led all employees to face challenges head-on, take proactive actions, and overcome difficulties, working together on-site over the long term to accelerate project construction, ensure safe operation, and coordinate efforts effectively. The employees of the project team worked even harder, putting in long hours day and night to overcome various difficulties and ensure the smooth progress of the commissioning work. The startup and operation of the boiler directly affect the commissioning schedule of the coal-based ethylene glycol project. To this end, the project team conducted preliminary discussions and arrangements regarding system preparation, pipeline purging, pipeline testing, DCS configuration, interlock operations, and the status of equipment joint commissioning, and developed a detailed and reliable commissioning plan. On the day of debugging, the team’s technical personnel carefully inspected the site to identify problems, find flaws, and address shortcomings. In response to the issues identified during on-site inspections, immediate action is taken, and a task force is formed comprising technicians from various departments of the company, as well as those from the commissioning and construction units, to resolve these problems.
