New Energy Carbon Material Raw Material Project of Shanxi Jingyang New Energy Co., Ltd. Location of construction: Fine Chemicals Circular Industry Zone in Qingxu Economic Development Zone. Constructor: Shanxi Jingyang New Energy Co., Ltd. Overview of the project: The production capacity of this project is 4.35 million tons per year for coking and related activities. The main construction components include coking and gas purification. For the coking project: 6 top-mounted coke ovens of the JNX3-70-1 type with 70 chambers each will be built, along with 3 sets of 190 t/h dry quenching systems, with 3 additional sets of wet quenching systems as backups. Gas purification project: Construction of units such as condensing blowers, electrostatic tar collectors, a three-tower series desulfurization system using the HPF method, acid production from sulfur foam and desulfurization wastewater, ammonia removal using spray saturators with ammonium sulfate, ammonia evaporation in ammonia evaporation towers, and final cooling for benzene extraction. The total investment in the project is approximately 8.032 billion yuan, of which about 1.195 billion yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures. III. Chemical New Material Production Project of Shanxi Meijin Huasheng Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. Location of construction: Fine Chemicals Circular Industry Zone, Qingxu Economic Development Zone. Constructor: Shanxi Meijin Huasheng Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. Overview of the project: The production capacity of this project is 3.85 million tons per year for coking and related associated projects. The main construction components of the coking project include coking and gas purification. For the coking part: 4 top-loading coke ovens of the JNX3-7.65-18 type with 70 chambers each will be built, along with 2 sets of dry quenching systems capable of handling 260 t/h each, along with 1 unit of 25 MW capacity; additionally, 1 set of wet quenching system is provided as a backup. Gas purification project: Construction of units such as condensing blowers, electrostatic tar collectors, a three-tower series desulfurization system using the HPF method, acid production from sulfur foam and desulfurization wastewater, ammonia removal using spray saturators with ammonium sulfate, ammonia evaporation in ammonia evaporation towers, and final cooling for benzene extraction. It also includes MDEA decarboxylation units, H2/CO separation systems, DMO production units, ethylene glycol production units, industrial high-purity hydrogen production units, as well as related supporting systems. The total investment in the project is approximately 8.737 billion yuan, of which about 1.24 billion yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures. IV. Overview of the project: The production capacity of this project is 2.8 million tons per year for coking and related associated facilities. The main construction components of the coking project include coking and gas purification. For the coking part: 4 NX2-70-2 type top-loading coke ovens will be built, along with 2 sets of 220th dry quenching systems accompanied by 2 30MW steam turbines; 2 sets of wet quenching systems are provided as backups. Gas purification project: Construction of units such as condensing blowers, electrostatic tar collectors, a three-tower series desulfurization system using the HPF method, acid production from sulfur foam and desulfurization wastewater, spray saturators for ammonium sulfate degassing, ammonia distillation in vapor towers, and final cooling for benzene extraction. The purified gas is used to produce methanol along with syngas. The total investment in the project is approximately 7.02 billion yuan, of which about 1.038 billion yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures. V. Shanxi Lu’an Coking Co., Ltd.’s 1.4 million tons per year coking plant with coke ovens having a height of 6.25 meters – Project location: Lubaoyuan Park, within the Coal Chemical Industry Circular Economy Cluster in Lucheng City. Constructor: Shanxi Lu’an Coking Co., Ltd. Project overview: The project is located in the Lucheng Economic and Technological Development Zone (formerly Lubaoyuan Park of the Coal Chemical Industry Circular Economy Cluster) in Changzhi City. It covers an area of 550 mu. In accordance with the requirements set out in the notice issued by the provincial government office titled “Notice on Issuing the Implementation Plan for Improving Pollution Control and Promoting Transformation and Upgrading in Shanxi’s Coking Industry” (Jin Zheng Ban Fa [2018] No. 98), this project involves the construction of coking units with a larger capacity to replace those with smaller capacities. The main components of this project include 2×60-chamber JNDⅩ3-6.25 single-heating type ramming coke ovens, along with 1×175 t/h quenching system using the dry method and 1×25 MW waste heat generator set. There is also one set of quenching system using the wet method along with related supporting facilities. An exhaust gas purification unit with a capacity of 80,000 Nm3/h will be installed as well. The total investment for this project is approximately 1.856 billion yuan, of which around 261 million yuan is allocated for environmental protection measures. An oxygen-enriched coke oven gas purification system with a capacity of 80,000 Nm3/h will be installed.
