As of September 10, the LDPE/EVA plant at YNCC’s Polyolefins Center had operated stably for over 44 days since it began producing EVA products—a new record for the longest continuous operation period since the plant became operational. In response to issues that can arise during production, such as high VA levels leading to sticking of components in the process system, blockages at the pressure measurement points in the reactor, fluctuations in the VA system, sticking of components in the reactor, and a decrease in conversion rates, the managers of LDPE/EVA plants attach great importance to these problems. All employees are involved in efforts to identify control issues related to various systems, with the aim of improving operational efficiency, reducing system fluctuations, enhancing the quality of inspections, and detecting and addressing potential problems promptly. According to statistics, 4 potential hazards were identified and addressed during this long-duration operation, with the operation period exceeding one month for the first time.
