Date: June 23, 2020 Clicks: 936 On June 5, after more than a month of hard work, the PSA hydrogen production team completed all the construction drawings for the four PSA hydrogen production units required for Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Company’s 1.8 million tons per year ethylene glycol production facility, which is capable of producing 480,000 Nm3 of hydrogen per hour. This marked the successful completion of the design phase for this project. It is understood that the PSA hydrogen production unit associated with this project has a total raw gas processing capacity of 570,000 Nm3/h, with a total hydrogen production capacity of 480,000 Nm3/h. Once completed, it will be the largest coal-to-hydrogen PSA plant in the world to date. It represents another significant advancement in China’s PSA hydrogen production technology, following the ultra-large-scale 280,000 Nm3/h PSA hydrogen production project built by Shenhua in Ordos in 2008.
