Due to the suspension of the project, the equipment was left in place for an extended period without any rotation or maintenance being carried out. Moreover, it had exceeded both the warranty period and the commissioning service period. The center made every effort to overcome these difficulties, took proactive steps to address the challenges, and, in the absence of on-site guidance from the manufacturer, conducted inspections and maintenance through discussions and risk assessments. In collaboration with the Mechanical Power Department and the engineering company, they managed to complete the individual unit tests, saving the company hundreds of thousands of yuan in costs related to equipment maintenance and commissioning support. Considering that this model has a cantilever structure and may have issues such as shaft bending due to prolonged use, a thorough inspection and maintenance of all components of the gearbox were conducted. Tasks including shaft runout testing, measurement of the clearance in the support bearings, measurement and maintenance of the tilting-pad bearings, measurement of the clearance in the gear thrust discs, measurement of the gear meshing clearance, and measurement of the gear meshing area were carried out to eliminate potential safety hazards and ensure proper lubrication and oil circulation of the equipment. After more than 100 days of effort, the Public Utilities Center successfully completed the individual commissioning of the domestic centrifugal compressor SKV50-1H used in Unit 1# evaporation crystallization process. It is reported that this compression unit is an important component of the evaporation and crystallization system in wastewater treatment; when the system is operating properly, it supplies 36,000 kg of low-pressure steam to the evaporator per hour. In this \"battle\" of compressor commissioning, the team involved showed a determination to take on tough challenges and go all out to overcome difficulties. The center will use this as an opportunity to continue focusing on completing the remaining tasks of the project as well as the operation and testing of subsequent large-scale units, striving unremittingly to help Fuxin Company achieve its goal of full development.
