At 5:30 a.m. on May 29, the urea production unit of WeiHua Group began to produce qualified urea, marking the successful restart of the unit following more than 20 days of maintenance work. The major maintenance campaign for the urea production facility began on May 5th, covering both the urea production area and the finished product packaging process. All employees in the urea production workshop gave up their vacations and stayed at the site together with the various maintenance teams and contractors, working hard to ensure the maintenance was carried out to the required standard and quality, so as to resume operations as soon as possible. During the more than 20 days of intensive work, the urea production plant adhered to the company’s specific requirements for the \"2022 major maintenance campaign\": zero safety and environmental incidents, zero quality issues related to maintenance, successful completion of shutdown, maintenance, and restart processes in just one attempt, no rework, no missed items, no delays, and no accidents. By taking practical actions based on these requirements, the plant ensured safety throughout the entire maintenance and restart process. The workshops and contractor units involved worked together efficiently to overcome challenges such as tight deadlines, heavy workloads, high difficulties, and numerous overlapping tasks, while adhering to civilized and high-quality maintenance practices. Thanks to the close cooperation among all staff in the workshop, granulation at the evaporation unit of the urea plant was successfully carried out at 5:30 on May 29. At present, the plant is operating smoothly, which helps to continue making progress and achieving better results.
