The manufacturing of the first oversized equipment for the pyrolysis startup project at Shaanxi Coal Yulin Chemical was completed on schedule, and it was delivered successfully. On July 31, the reflux tank at the top of the fractionation tower, which is the first oversized equipment for this startup project, was manufactured on site as planned and delivered successfully. The specifications of the reflux tank at the top of the distillation tower are 12540×5000×(16+4) mm, with a weight of approximately 47330 Kg. The equipment manufacturing drawings were delivered to the site in June. Taking into account the layout of the oversized equipment at the site, the manufacturers made full use of the space remaining after the large towers were installed there to carry out the manufacturing of this equipment. During the equipment manufacturing process, the staff from the Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Management Department organized everything carefully and made thorough plans. They actively coordinated on-site to address any factors that could affect the progress of equipment manufacturing, and ensured that the manufacturers’ workers adhered strictly to the company’s various management regulations while carrying out their work in a civilized manner in accordance with technical requirements. At the same time, supervision and guidance are provided for tasks such as welding quality, non-destructive testing, pickling and passivation, as well as equipment painting for corrosion protection. It is reported that the pyrolysis startup project involves a total of 9 oversized pieces of equipment, and it is expected that all of them will be manufactured and delivered for on-site installation by the end of October.
