On August 6, the product research and development center of Yueneng Chemical organized a meeting to push forward the research and development of products in the joint laboratory for polyolefin resins. The meeting thoroughly implemented the various decisions and arrangements put in place by the group company to address low oil prices, as well as the specific measures taken by Yueneng Chemical to overcome operational difficulties. It made full use of the advantages of the joint laboratory platform to promote the efficient development of product research and development. Relevant departments of Yulin Energy Chemical and staff from Merrick Management (Shanghai) Company attended the meeting. At the meeting, clear requirements were set regarding the improvement of the quality of the jointly developed product (the material specifically designed for polypropylene milk tea cups), as well as ways to carry out downstream processing of the product; detailed guidance plans were also formulated. Issues that arose during the initial production of the product were addressed, thereby ensuring smooth production of this product in future. The meeting also held in-depth discussions on high-transparency impact-resistant polypropylene and future cooperation, offering constructive suggestions to address the impacts brought about by changes in the polyolefin market. The representatives from both sides reached a consensus at the meeting: they will adhere to a closed-loop working principle that covers product research and development, production preparation, industrial-scale manufacturing, product testing, performance improvement, and downstream guidance.
