Completion Acceptance of Yitaining Neng’s 500,000-ton FTO Alkanes Fine Separation Project / Author/Source: Coal Chemicals Reader / Date: 2019-08-13 / Clicks: 62 From August 6 to 8, the Inner Mongolia Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Construction Quality Supervision Station organized industry experts to conduct a trial production and completion acceptance review for Yitaining Neng’s FTO alkanes fine separation project. At the review meeting, Itaining Energy Company, the design institute, the supervision company, the EPC general contractor, and the various construction contractors each presented reports on the project’s trial production and handover acceptance. The review team provided comments on each report and offered valuable guidance. Following the review meeting, the inspection team went to the project site to conduct on-site inspections of the engineering quality and carried out random reviews of the project documents. Finally, they put forward suggestions for rectifying the issues identified during the inspection, formulated review opinions, and approved the acceptance of the project. Iterning Energy Company stated that it will promptly address the feedback received, continue to strengthen project quality management, and eliminate any potential quality issues. The successful completion of the trial production and handover acceptance inspection for Itaining’s FTO alkanes fine separation project indicates that the construction of this project is nearing its end, and it is now ready for trial production and handover, thereby laying a solid foundation for the project’s smooth commissioning. In August 2017, Yitai Group signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Nanjing Ningneng Chemical Industry Investment Co., Ltd., and a project preparation team was established. Project feasibility studies were carried out in September, followed by feasibility analysis and preliminary design work in October. In December, Inner Mongolia Yitai Ningneng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. was registered. It took 10 months in total; the project’s environmental impact assessment report was approved on May 28, 2018. On the morning of May 29, 2018, a kick-off meeting for the 500,000 tons per year FTO alkanes fine separation project conducted by Inner Mongolia Yitai Ningneng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. was held in the Duguitala Industrial Park in Hangjin Banner, Ordos. In 2018, Aerospace Changzheng Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. signed an EPC turnkey contract with Inner Mongolia Yitai Ningneng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.; the full name of the project is the 500,000 tons per year fine separation project for fischer-tropsch alkanes by Inner Mongolia Yitai Ningneng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. The Aerospace Engineering Company and Nanjing Hechuang Engineering Design Co., Ltd. jointly completed this project as a consortium. The design capacity of the Itaeningen 500,000-ton FTO alkanes fine separation project is 150,000 tons each for n-alkanes and isomeric alkanes. Once the project is put into operation, heteroalkanes will not only help change China’s long-term reliance on imports but also enable it to surpass ExxonMobil and become the world’s largest producer. The project is located in the Jintai Fine Chemicals Park within the Duguitala Industrial Park in Hangjin Banner, Inner Mongolia. It is capable of processing 1.2 million tons per year of FTO crude wax and 540,000 tons per year of stabilized alkanes from the fine chemicals production project operated by Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd. The main products include n-alkanes, isomeric alkanes, n-hexane, n-heptane, light white oil, and industrial white oil; the production volume is 502,000 tons, with the remaining 38,000 tons of straight-chain alkanes being sent back to Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd. Supporting facilities such as storage, transportation, loading, and unloading systems, hard wax warehouses, and recirculating water systems are constructed as part of the auxiliary production and utility infrastructure. Facilities for exhaust gas recovery, wastewater treatment, flare systems and flare gas recovery, as well as water and power supply, are developed based on the 1.2 million tons per year fine chemicals project operated by Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd. It is also accompanied by storage and transportation engineering, utility engineering, auxiliary engineering, and environmental protection engineering, among others.
