In July 2020, Linde Engineering entered into an agreement with Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Baofeng Energy”) to provide it with low-temperature methanol washing technology for its coal-to-olefins project; the capacity of this unit is approximately 1 million standard cubic meters per hour. Linde Engineering is supplying equipment for the third phase of Baofeng Energy’s Yinchuan Ningdong Petrochemical Complex, a project with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of coal-based olefins; the first unit of this facility is currently in the design stage. This is another collaboration between the two parties following the adoption of Linde’s low-temperature methanol washing technology for Baofeng Energy’s Phase II project in 2017, demonstrating the customer’s trust in Linde Engineering and its technical expertise.
