To ensure the successful commissioning of this back-pressure generator set for the first time, under the meticulous planning of the commissioning command team, all parties involved—including the project owner, general contractor, construction teams, commissioning staff, and the manufacturer—worked together in close cooperation. They carried out all the tests, commissioning tasks, and other related activities prior to startup in a systematic and thorough manner, with a commitment to excellence. After the installation of this set of units, due to external factors such as heating conditions, the units were idle for a long time. During this startup and commissioning process, various difficulties arose, but through close cooperation and unity among all involved parties, along with a high level of responsibility and enthusiasm, these obstacles were overcome, and ultimately the units were able to generate electricity on the grid. The steam turbine generator set of the Anqing Shuguang coal-to-hydrogen project passed the quality supervision review on July 12, and on July 21 it received the grid connection approval letter issued by the Anhui Electric Power Quality Supervision Station ； On July 28, the pre-grid connection inspection of the unit was carried out by State Grid Anqing Power Supply Company. After completing the rectifications in accordance with the acceptance requirements, and with the approval of Anqing Power Supply Company, the backpressure generator set was connected to the grid and started up on August 15: at 8 o’clock sharp, the warm-up process began ； The crew engaged the brakes at 10:30 ； At 11 o’clock sharp, the engine speed reached 1200 r/min ； At 12:15, the engine speed reached the rated value of 3000 r/min ； Subsequently, the grid connection procedure was carried out as per regulations, and after being under load, all parameters such as the turbine blade temperature, shaft vibration, and expansion were within normal ranges. The successful grid connection and operation of the generator set in the Anqing Shuguang coal-to-hydrogen project represents an important milestone in the project’s development. It lays a solid foundation for the subsequent 72+24 hour trial operation of the entire unit. The personnel involved will continue to work hard to ensure that the performance testing of the unit is completed successfully, thereby bringing the Anqing Shuguang coal-to-hydrogen project to a successful conclusion.
