On the morning of August 31, the slag treatment component of Phase 1 of the Shaanxi Coal Group’s demonstration project for the production of chemical new materials through the selective utilization of coal in Yulin, which involves an annual production capacity of 1.8 million tons of ethylene glycol, was completed. As the first high-rise structure in the gasification plant to be finished, this achievement marks the onset of the installation work for the entire gasification plant. The slag water treatment system for the pulverized coal gasification unit consists of two reinforced concrete frames, I and II; each frame has a four-story structure, and the total height of the frames is 30.5 meters.
