It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company Sichuan Meifeng Chemical Co., Ltd., and serves as one of its key production bases. Currently, there is one ammonia synthesis plant with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, using natural gas as raw material; one urea plant with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons; one nitric acid plant with an annual capacity of 180,000 tons; one phosgene plant with an annual capacity of 240,000 tons; one melamine plant with an annual capacity of 50,000 tons; and two nitro compound fertilizer plants with an annual capacity of 225,000 tons each. At present, all devices are operating safely and stably. II. Greenhouse Gas Emission Data Greenhouse gas emissions are calculated on a corporate basis, in accordance with the \"Methods and Reporting Requirements for Greenhouse Gas Accounting in Chemical Enterprises\". After calculation, the total greenhouse gas emissions of our organization in 2019 amounted to 759,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. III. Actions to Control Greenhouse Gas Emissions (1) Key Measures for Reducing Carbon Emissions and Increasing Carbon Sequestration Our company strictly adheres to the “Hundred-Thousand-Thousand” initiative for key energy-consuming units in Sichuan Province, as well as the “Dual Control” targets for energy consumption set for key energy-consuming units during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, in order to control the total amount of energy consumed and achieve energy-saving goals. We reduce electricity consumption through technical upgrades, recover low-pressure steam, and minimize nitrogen oxide emissions. Specific technical upgrades include using the potential energy of recycled water to drive the fans in the cooling towers, thereby replacing the traditional motor drives; installing steam injectors to recover low-pressure steam that would otherwise be released, using high-pressure steam for this purpose; modifying burners to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from the exhaust gases of triamine molten salt furnaces; and adding equipment and catalysts for ammonia reduction to lower nitrogen oxide levels in nitric acid production exhaust gases. Additionally, our company is collecting and researching carbon reduction and sequestration technologies that can be applied to us. (II) Application of energy-saving and low-carbon production processes and technologies: The technologies used in our company’s various facilities are all based on mature chemical processes; at present, there are no available energy-saving and low-carbon processes or technologies. (III) Status of energy-saving and low-carbon products and energy management system certification: Our company does not currently have any energy-saving and low-carbon products, nor has it applied for an energy management system certification. (IV) Carbon asset development and participation in carbon emission rights trading: Our company is currently entering into a CDM development contract with South Korea’s ECOPRO Co., Ltd. (5) Capacity building: Our company is planning to formulate and establish sound rules and regulations for controlling greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with **relevant policies and regulations ; Part-time staff for greenhouse gas emission management have been assigned, and they have attended training on electricity and carbon trading management organized by the Talent Strategy Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences; upon passing the training, they obtained certificates confirming their professional competence in electricity and carbon trading management. (VI) Others: None.
