Multiple units of Jiutai’s ethylene glycol project have come online! Lifting of the PGA test apparatus has begun! Author/Source: Coal-based New Materials Date: 2021-07-02 Clicks: 11 On July 1, the construction of Jiutai New Materials’ plant with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of ethylene glycol reached a new milestone: the intelligent warehouse was put into use, the coal transportation routes were completed, the wastewater treatment system began to operate, the reclaimed water reuse system started functioning, and the first piece of equipment for the PGA research and testing facility was installed. Multiple key milestones were achieved as planned. In the smart warehouse, staff demonstrated on-site the entire process of using a PDA to scan QR codes to identify item information, enter quantities and batches, attach pallets, successfully add inventory information, and generate inventory entry tasks. President Cui Yijun pressed the insertion button, and the goods were transported on pallets via chain conveyors and stackers to reach their designated locations, thus completing the process of storing the goods successfully. By scanning the material requisition code, and after it is reviewed by the warehouse manager and an outbound shipment order is generated, the goods are successfully retrieved using stackers and chain conveyors, thus completing the dispatch of the materials. Subsequently, Chairman Cui Lianguo and his party went to the coal transfer area to watch a demonstration of the functions of the sampling equipment, to view the data read from the heavy-duty and light-duty scales, and to experience the entire process of coal transport vehicles entering the plant, sampling, weighing, unloading, cleaning, and leaving the plant. At the sewage treatment plant, Chairman Cui Lianguo personally opened the inlet valve, allowing sewage to flow into the sewage regulation tank; thus, the plant was officially ready to receive wastewater. At the reclaimed water treatment station, Chairman Cui Lianguo pressed the start button for the 2# ultrafiltration product water pumping pump; the pointer on the pressure gauge moved slightly, and the reclaimed water treatment station was officially put into operation. Once the recycled water treatment plant is put into operation, it will significantly reduce the amount of wastewater generated, increase the rate of wastewater reuse across the entire facility, and alleviate the shortage of water for production. In the PGA environmentally degradable materials research and testing workshop, Chairman Cui Lianguo gave the lifting instructions, and the first piece of equipment in the PGA research and testing setup was officially lifted into place.
