View count: 18. On November 4, a progress meeting regarding the project to produce 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year was held at the New Materials Company. Xu Shouji, Vice Mayor of Hohhot, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Cui Yijun, the group’s president, gave a detailed report at the meeting. President Cui Yijun gave a detailed report on the basic situation of Inner Mongolia Jutai Group, the progress of the project to produce 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year, and the challenges faced. Gao Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Tokto County Party Committee and acting county head, and Liu Zhiqiang, a member of the County Party Committee and executive deputy county head, gave detailed reports on the overall industrial situation in Tokto County, the policy support for the Jutai project, and the guarantees related to various resources needed for development. Vice Mayor Xu Shouji pointed out that Jiu Tai Group’s development strategies in the areas of new energy, new materials, and biodegradable products are highly aligned with the goals of implementing dual control over energy consumption and achieving the \"dual carbon\" targets. The project to produce 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year is a key project at both the autonomous region and Hohhot levels; it features a large scale of construction, broad development prospects, and holds great significance for the future development of the regional economy. All levels and departments must align their thinking and cooperate closely, carefully plan and advance project construction, spare no effort to provide favorable conditions, focus on resolving the key issues hindering project progress, and thus form a collective effort to expedite the completion and commissioning of the projects. Enterprises should maintain confidence, actively address the current situation, improve their level of refined management, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of their industries, strengthen and optimize the real economy, and promote high-quality economic development. Before the meeting, the attending leaders visited the project construction site in person to gain a detailed understanding of the project’s industrial layout, overall plan, production processes, products and the extension of the industrial chain, as well as its future prospects.
