Progress on the Upgrade and Renovation Project of the Pressurized Ammonia (Alcohol) Gasification Unit at Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical Co., Ltd. According to reports from Wuxi Huaguang Power Plant project, the first steel frame of the boiler island at Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical was lifted into place on October 14. The steam drum was lifted on November 13. The successful lifting of the steam drum marks the full commencement of the installation of the boiler’s heating surfaces, and it also lays a solid foundation for the next milestone: the boiler’s hydrostatic test. The Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical Boiler Island project involves the renovation of the original 2×35t/h boilers to install a 1×150t/h high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized bed boiler (with a continuous evaporation capacity of 180t/h). The upgrade of the ammonia (alcohol) production unit at Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical Co., Ltd. will involve the use of a new water-coal slurry gasification process, enabling the production of 270,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia along with 3,500.00 m3/h of CO gas. Through capacity replacement and technological upgrades, comprehensively improve the safety, energy efficiency, and environmental protection standards of enterprises. On August 3, Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the general contract regarding the project to upgrade the ammonia (alcohol) production facilities at Shandong Jinmei Riyue Chemical Co., Ltd. using pressurized gasification technology, at the Saiding Building. The value of the general contract was 931 million yuan.
